HANDSON The Rolex GMTMaster II Pepsi (ref. 126710 BLRO)
Having owned the Pepsi BLRO in stainless steel, my next natural progression was to also own a Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi Meteorite 126719BLRO.. The meteorite dial is an extremely special piece to me, as no two dials are identical. As most Rolex sport models have the same 40mm cases and only 2 versions of different bracelets, this particular model really stood out.

The Pepsi GMT-Master II represents the reincarnation of the classic in its original form. At first, the colors were used to distinguish between the day and night times of the second time zone. This and other specs for the watch came from Pan American Airways, at whose request this model was created.

First impressions: the GMT Master II (reference 116719BLRO) has been to the gym. It's a much more muscular watch; beefier case; you can feel the weight of each individual link but at the same time (and admittedly, a certain amount of all this is down to it being quite a lot of white gold) it doesn't feel cumbersome on the wrist.

The Rolex GMT-Master II "Pepsi" ref. 116719BLNR is comfortable on the wrist; the steel bracelet can be adjusted (and micro adjusted) to fit your wrist perfectly. Although we must mention that it is also quite heavy, due to the use of white gold for the case and bracelet. And again, that is the only complaint we have. White gold is heavier.

This Rolex GMT-Master II "Pepsi" is in excellent condition. It comes with the boxes, papers and was originally sold in May of 2022. The case is in excellent condition with a few small hairlines and marks. The bracelet is in excellent condition with some light marks and hairlines. It has all the links and will fit around a 7.75" wrist.

Since it's re-release in stainless steel, the Pepsi is one of the most unattainable Rolex models today.
